Setting foot in the red earth killing fields of Cambodia changed my life forever.

Not even seven years of solo-travelling could have prepared me for the paralyzing sights of human cruelty, heart-racing trepidation of the next footstep being my last, and the genuine human drive to survive, reconcile, and hope for a better future.

The capturing of this thirty-year-old footage was the first step in my International Humanitarian video-Journalism journey that hasn’t ended since. I have made it my mission to tell the stories of those unable to voice their own, bringing to light human atrocities from Rwanda to Kosovo.

I strongly believe that in order to prevent the next genocide we mustn’t shy away from the horrifying realities of our past and present.

Cambodia shines as a monumental example of how the world can come together and assist a beacon of a nation willing to reconcile and choose a peaceful path to its future.

‘Never again’ is not an empty phrase, but a path we must follow to reach a brighter future for all.
