This idea came about because I wanted to do a genre piece. I was particularly inspired by the film 'Ghost Stories' and the horror episodes of 'The Twilight Zone'. I listened to the piece of music 'Goodman's Theme' which gave me a lot of ideas. One thing which I love in the original Twilight Zone is many of the horror episodes end with a fate worse than death for the protagonist which I find infinitely more terrifying than jump scares, so I tried to have a similar ending. I wanted to create a horror film with brightness, I didn't want to rely on darkness. She is also haunted by something unseen, blending with the environment.
