This film is a:

Creative video depiction of stages of anguished psychological grief, vanquishing painful memories and hurtful spoken words, alternating with seeking hope.

This "ballerina experience" was the result of a surprise backstage livelihood termination for reason of the boss's fear of Sara's height, and his lack of knowing what to do when confronted with such a 'dilemma.'

The 'story' is a allegory of the experience of ensuing years in which the ballerina, hoping to inspire change and to push beyond the boundaries created by myopic mentalities, confronts seemingly endless roadblocks, forcing her to live in her own art world, mostly alone, as she quests to forge a future for other statuesque ballerinas, as well as for herself, since the assaultive career sabotage took place at the very beginning of her peak career years.

All filmed footage of the ballerina dancing was created in NYC.

The first-portion of footage was filmed by a female friend in NYC at the joyous JUMP INTO THE LIGHT green-screen room.

The ending-portion of footage was filmed by Chris Cole (Dynamic Motion Works) of Philadelphia at the fabulous FD STUDIOS in Long Island City, NYC.

This film-creation is a collaboration of 5 artists:

Two videographers from the USA

One dancer from USA & Europe

One friend from Georgia, USA, who provided most of the sound special effects, as well as the voice overs, which were then placed into the project by the female videographer in NYC

One friend from Paris who added in most of the visual special effects in the first portion

The female videographer also added in a few of the visual special effects, as well as the typed textual words. She also post-processed the 2 separately filmed segments into this final product.

:) What a collaborative effort by all involved :)

This is being shared now, as it was intended to be used in the longer film that is being released soon, but a mutual choice to omit the first portion from the final was made. Therefore, this mini-film is a preview or 'advertisement' for the group film that will be finalized soon.
