ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
A while back I was shooting some experimental footage with soap, jelly, and a macro lens through a plastic bag. I really liked how the footage turned out and I felt like it could make cool backgrounds for a lyric video. I went on the music bed and found this track by Astyria, and when I put it to that footage and made the footage black and white it just seemed like a perfect fit.

I create videos full time, and almost always I'm creating them for someone else- for my day job and for freelance clients. Sometimes I have creative freedom, and sometimes I don't...but I miss the days when I could just make something the way I wanted to make it to express myself artistically without needing to consider what someone else might think. I probably could have tweaked this video until the end of time, but I felt happy with it and decided to put it out for whoever to enjoy.
