I made a goal this year to learn Premiere Pro through monthly projects. Each month I accumulate or shoot footage and edit them into a short film. An Old Pup was November's project.
I chose this project to see if I could connect footage of my dog - Rory - into a narrative. I shot the footage with the hopes of only using the visuals to represent her arc. But I chose to add voiceover at the beginning to better communicate her status quo and to help with pacing.
Many audio clips were recorded by me but I used some free license clips from freesound.org. I shot this on 2.39:1 aspect ratio with my iPhone 8 using Filmic Pro. Music is "Sometimes" by Japancakes off their album "Loveless."
