This animation was created from the day dreamy thoughts I would have on the bus ride to my boyfriends, it was created in Photoshop with hand drawn imagery.
During the creation of this piece I was inspired by comic art, pop art, and flip books. I was also interested in the relationship between nature and machine, comparing the difference in function and impact. Isn't it intriguing how we base planes off of the aerodynamics of a bird yet they are nothing alike. One fills the air with music while the other fills it with pollutants, the thought of birds revolting against their mechanical look alikes and kamikazeing into their demise was comforting in a riotous way, nature reclaiming its power.
