The award-winning comedy, the Foreigner, opens this weekend at Richardson Theatre Centre (RTC) located at 518 W. Arapaho Road #113. It takes place in a resort-style fishing lodge in rural Georgia and centers around two Englishmen. The play has been revived a number of times, from high school to the professional level since the 1980’s. It’s filled with laughs, scandal and secrets. The Foreigner runs July 19 through August 4 at RTC with performances at 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays, 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. on Sundays. RTC is one of dozens supported by Richardson’s Cultural Arts Commission to promote arts in Richardson. Visit artsinrichardson.com for more information.
