Using watercolor paint the frog as shown on the Video. You can make your own watercolor by adding food color to a bit of water Dilute it to get the saturation you like! Paint with a paintbrush or use a q-tip if you don’t have one. Use a q-tip to apply lemon juice to add spots onto the frog body. Let dry completely before adding eyes. You don’t have to but can add motion marks using a sharpie. If you’d like you could paint a group (called an “army”) of frogs going different directions! Next carefully add a watery background being careful not to get too close to your frog so it won’t make your green run or blur. (Miss Tamm’s actually got too watery and made the little frog legs run away ...if this happens let it completely dry and then carefully add more green.) You may also add some course salt to your watery background while it is still wet. After it fully dries wipe away the excess salt. This gives it a cool effect! Totally optional to add lily pads. You can paint them (add salt *optional) cut when dry and add to your scene.
Hop to it and have FUN!!
