I made a pair of Air Max 90's as a part of my real-time Killer Mike project. I'm breaking the project down into chunks, and polishing each piece / section as much as possible. I started with the Air Max 90 Hike Q Retro's in Persian Blue, and my mentor suggested I make a couple different colorways. I went pretty ham and made 6 different variations and it ended up turning into a faux sneaker campaign. It was fun to combine my new 3D skills and MoGraph, development and marketing knowledge to make this piece :)! Block out done in Maya, Sculpted in Zbrush, ReTopo with Topogun 3, UV's done in RizumUV, a couple displacement maps made in Illustrator, Bakes and renders done in Marmoset Toolbag 4, textured with Substance Painter. Special thanks to my mentor Georgian Avasilcutei who answered a TON of my questions and all the feedback sessions, Jesse Cowell who edited the shots into a dope piece, and Alex Coman and his beast machine that helped get these renders done!
