This short film project was born out of a conversation between close friends who were going through rather difficult times in their personal lives. We wondered why we felt so miserable, why it was so long and painful to get rid of our sorrows and learn to be alone. Maybe because somewhere we felt a responsibility, a life’s mission. So, we decided to express it all through Parenthesis.
In spite of ourselves, some moments in our lives will be embarrassing. We may feel powerless except by maybe discussing them or making fun of them like Patricia, Muriel, Alina, and Lola do.
