lots of snow in the desert around death valley, in march of 2019. the mud was as slippery as snot... at times, my handlebars were 45 degrees, and my klr was going straight ahead... i fell several times, the last one trapped my foot under the bike. while nothing broke, it hurt for a month and sapped my riding confidence for even longer... those on lighter bikes said "this is fun!", i was happy to have made it out under our own power on my 420lb+ klr650... note to self; you do this in the pursuit of "fun", right?... note to self; acquire a bike that makes 'fun' of this.
