"Today I want to tell you a bit about myself and Make Be-Leaves. I come from a very artistic family, and I’ve always enjoyed being creative. Being a Studio Arts major at Loyola Marymount gave me a taste of different artistic mediums – but what really blew my mind was when I first saw a beautiful artificial Ficus tree built on real wood trunks. It was like a portrait of Mother Nature’s finest work. Plant Art – with no maintenance -which intrigued me, since I had a “black thumb”.

And in that instant, I didn’t know how I was going to do it, but I decided that this what I wanted to do: Design and create amazing lush, trees & plants for everyone to enjoy. And that was 38 years ago!
Through the years, we have constructed magnificent artificial plantscaping for hotels, restaurants, gov’t facilities, hospitals, offices, churches, and residences.

We’ve installed large scale 20 ft. trees, complete themed plantscapes, UV exterior roof top plantscaping, and custom green walls for interior and exterior spaces.

Customization has been the keystone of our business!

People occasionally ask me – how can you still enjoy your business after all those years? I don’t think creativity ever gets “old”. Collaborating with interior designers, architects and landscapers to design and produce unique, custom plantscapes never ceases to be invigorating. It’s great fun to continue to be stretched and challenged to find creative, quality solutions for my clients.
