A review comparing the romantic comedy "To Rome With Love (2012) with a serious love story "The Last Letter From our Lover" (2021). "To Rome With Love" displays four vignettes based in Rome, Italy. This is a typical Woody Allen movie, with many comedic scenes. The plot of the vignettes, about a recently married young couple who veer from their recent marriage vows, is copied from a 1952 Federico Fellini Movie entitled "The White Sheik." The other three vignettes are about an American student who finds love with an Italian attorney, , an young architectural student torn between two loves and a clerk who finds instant fame. "The Last Letter From our Lover" is about how a newspaper reporter discovers a secret love affair from the 1960s, and also her current love interest..
