Reel Breakdown:

1. Big Cats Running - Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon - Lighting and Compositing

2. Raya and Sisu on the Water - Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon - Lighting and Compositing

3. Raya Training Exercises - I chose two photographs as inspiration and matched the lighting to them. Photos by Justin Bettman.

4. Tong Breakdown - A shot from Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon which was also used as a publicity still. These are some of the passes I rendered and composited together to create the final look.

5-7. Tong menacing Raya, dropping gems, and laughing. I had so much fun doing the character lighting for these shots. The key lighting was very rough, so I created some of my own color keys and paint-overs as I worked.

8. Boss Baby bedroom - For TV lighting, I had to quickly light each set for every time of day, which was a really fun challenge.

9. Boss Baby Chicago flythrough - It was a real challenge lighting the largest set in the Boss Baby tv show while keeping render times under half an hour. I added atmospheric perspective in comp to separate the foreground shapes.

10. Tiesto ft. Post Malone "Jackie Chan" Music Video - At Ingenuity Studios we had only three weeks to produce this 4-minute music video, which came out fantastically creative. I did the lighting and some shading.

11. Ocean Untitled Pitch - concept art I made for a pilot episode. I did the modeling, shading, and lighting.

12-14. Namaari assembles the dragon gem and turns to stone - This was a very important moment in the movie and I am honored that my lead trusted me to light and composite these shots, which included lighting complex fx like smoke, dust, and magic. In the final shot, there is a transition in color and mood which is an emotional part of the story.

I am currently working on The Rugrats and will be able to show that work soon!

The music is the 2016 Jungle Book trailer theme.
