The AMEGO satellite mission main goal is to serve as a kind of probe, picking up and reading various gamma signatures from out in space. NASA hopes to use the collected data to gain a better understanding of various phenomena such as neutron stars and quasar.
For our animation we decided it would be fun to depict the satellite as a little robot, being sent out on a mission after detecting two neutron stars in the area.
