When Stef (17), a severe stutterer, wants to tell great news about his studies at this grandmother’s annual birthday party in Zuid-Limburg, his ‘helpful’ family members deprive him, as usual, from speaking. But to everyone’s surprise, Stef stirs up this normally predictable family gathering by not remaining silent this time.

Stef is zeventien en stottert. Op zijn oma’s verjaardag in Zuid-Limburg wil hij het goede nieuws over zijn studie vertellen, alleen komt hij zoals altijd niet aan het woord. Nu hij bijna volwassen is, is hij hier helemaal klaar mee. Tot ieders verrassing laat hij deze keer wel zijn eigen stem horen.
