We had a guinea pig contra dance at my house. Its where experienced contra dancers get together to help callers learn to call better and for choreographers to find out if their new dance they wrote really works. After each dance we discuss what we thought went well and where there are problems. It was a such a growth experience. It was such an amazing group of fun, smart, loving group of people. After dancing for 2 hours with three callers, Victoria, Qwill, Ambivert. Thanks to Victoria for conceiving of it and for making it happen. Nicola and Lynn provided the music. Lots of people brought food to share after the dance. Ambivert made delicious vegan and gluten free chili with rice, sour cream, cilantro, and cheese options.
