Video gives a small explanation at the start as to what is happening throughout.

Death Echoes was the result of a four-month-long, third-year group professional project briefed by industry clientele. I was a part of a friendly eight-man group (including myself), taking on responsibilities of the game's lead designer, lead narrative designer, lead level designer, and lead UX/UI designer.

While I had produced a significant amount of work for this project, due to my assigned responsibilities, this particular artwork details my journey through the game's UI design to emphasise my specialist subject. My UX/UI journey for Death Echoes consisted of creating navigation maps using Draw.IO, traditionally drawn lofi (low fidelity) wireframes, digital prototypes using Adobe XD, and finally, in-engine fully-fledged functionality development using my existing knowledge of UE4 blueprints.

Near the end of the project, I gained a significant amount of knowledge, not only in my area of specialism but also in game design, narrative design, and level design. Above that, I would class this project as a great success regarding teamwork; it was great fun to co-develop a game for a studio client with like-minded individuals, and I've made some lasting friends due to it!
