This was a video I directed a long time ago for an Irish boy band. Nice guys and very hardworking. I was offered this job through a friend of a friend and thought it would be fun to try something poppy with slow-mo lip-synch. I'm not sure the convergence between narrative and performance at the climax works as well as I'd hoped. Everyone looks lovely though - the video was photographed on 16mm by the super-talented Crighton Bone and I wish I'd worked more with him as he was cool, calm and intelligent company.
