Our wedding film love story

How did you guys meet?
We met in Vodka Revolution, Cheri was at university and working as a shot girl to pay for travelling after uni. Graham was in there buying the shots every night. We went our separate ways and then a few years later we started dating.
Tell me a bit about the two of you, what do you guys do? How do you spend your time?
We love to travel and are always planning our next big trip. We are also quite active and like to get out and about for nice walks. As foodies, we like to go out for food and drinks whenever we can.
How did the proposal go down? (all the gushy details, I love this bit!)
We were on holiday in Dubai, it was our final night. Graham took me (Cheri) up the Burj Kalifa, the highest bar in the world. We drank champagne and watched the sun set across the skyline. A private car then took us to a private dinner on the beach, which was beautiful. We were served Thai food (our favourite!). After the main course, graham took me to one side and got down on one knee.
How did you choose your wedding venue(s)?
We wanted somewhere that was modern but still had charm. We wanted somewhere that was exclusive to use, and that we could stay in overnight afterwards. The beautiful, classic Hedsor House ticked all the boxes.
What sort of experience do you want your guests to have?
We want them to be “wowed” and we want an intimate but really fun day.
Can you describe some of the details and stylings, does your wedding have a theme?
Our wedding does not have a theme, but we like neutral colours. We wanted to keep it quite classic, so the groomsmen have black suits with grey ties and the bridesmaids have grey dresses. We have some blush pink in the tables and in some of the flowers to compliment the neutral colours.
What was the hardest decision during the planning?
The guest list!!
What advice would you give to couples planning a wedding?

Don’t try to please everyone else, as you will never, please everyone. Make decisions for you, it’s your day!
