This is a story about hope amongst the unhoused in the tiny town of Victoria on the West Coast of Canada. When local developer Luke Mari proposes building a tiny community out of shipping containers for the homeless population to Mayor Lisa Helps, she quickly gathers a group of concerned citizens to crowd-fund and build a place of hope for people without homes.
TinyTown follows local politicians, advocacy groups, indigenous activists, and the unhoused themselves; their stories about living and working with poverty during a pandemic and finding joy in helping our fellow humans exist within the world.
