Time Is A Physical Dimension

Način na koji se jezikom referiramo na vrijeme daje nam dojam da se radi o nečemu materijalnom, uhvatljivom. Vrijeme u jeziku postaje fizička dimenzija kojom upravljamo, nad kojom imamo određenu moć, kao da se radi o svojevrsnom tijelu kojim možemo raspolagati svojevoljno. Mi vladamo vremenom, odnosno živimo u iluziji da smo u stanju vladati njime, iako vrijeme ide i postoji bez obzira na nas. Time Is A Physical Dimension je kratki metaforični film, koji pokušava prevesti fizičke radnje/geste u kontekst dimenzije vremena.

// The way we refer to time with language gives us impression that time is something material, capturable. Time in language becomes a sort of physical dimension we can manage, over which we have power, as if it’s a body we can access as we want. We rule over time, that is, we live in the illusion that we are able to rule over time, although time moves and exists regardless of us. Time Is A Physical Dimension is a short metaphorical film that tries to translate physical actions/gestures into the context of dimension of time.
