Description:
For a long time I've thought about making short films. Moving images with sound and text. Created in the context of this challenging time and to guide the viewer into peace and silence.
As part of this, the topic of "meditation" should be addressed. Meditation has measurable positive effects on the brain, thoughts and health. In particular, it leads to inner peace and relaxation like nothing else.
The combination of these two topics have led me to start a new venture into short films, and they will follow the same principle.
I named it "The Present Moment Project".
It’s a series of short films and each one will consist of 60 seconds. Including a photograph with its corresponding sound.
The picture is an animated portrait. A portrait of a person who looks inward with his eyes closed. It is the visual contradiction between the outward appearance of sleep and the inward awakening on a mental level.
The sounds consist of music and the voice of a reader.
The music consists of tones based on a concert pitch of 432 Hz. These have a harmonious effect on the body, support the synchronization of the halves of the brain and promote healthy cell metabolism.
The reader is my mouthpiece to you. He divides as many insights into one sentence as I cannot into ten.
The short film should allow you to have a moment of pause and alleviate any stressors that come from everyday life. It should provide you with 60 seconds of rest and relaxation. Close your eyes, take a deep breath and let the short film sink in.
