Spring | new life | sea life on the wadden sea | old and new ferry
Vlieland week 20

A beautiful spring week on Vlieland where we enjoy the North Sea, the Wadden Sea and the area in between, where we enjoy all the new life there is: young geese, young eider ducks, the large groups of turnstones that are always on the mudflats side and fly exactly in the direction you walk. Since the (speed) ferry has been out of service for a while, the old ferry, the Friesland, sails. We think this boat is a feast for the eyes and we hope to see it more often.

This mini movie is the start of a new series: Tiny Island.The plan is that every week a video of the island life of the week before will be posted. Except when we go on holiday again, then there will be another video planned in advance for a week or two. For us, this is relaxing in addition to the daily work we do. It is intensive work, making these mini - movies, but by focusing on this, it provides balance between our daily work and free time.
