Last Summer, Glebe Primary School were awarded £10,000 from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund to deliver the Stronger Together project, in partnership with creative ageing charity Equal Arts. The project sees Glebe pupils from Military families and older people living in care explore their experiences through drama and creative arts.
Stronger Together focusses on giving a voice to young and older people, reducing loneliness and creating a sense of pride and enjoyment. Throughout the project, groups of Glebe children and residents at Parkfield House Nursing Home will be producing a series of short films. The workshops and films will creatively explore family life and experiences.
This second film was created by Year 4 children during workshops with theatre practitioner Hannah Wood and edited by film-maker Sam Mac Miller.
