Replanting Gardens at Accentaury
Shortly after Fantasty Faire ended in mid May 2021, I could get back to gardening at the ACC Alpha sim. I asked Lilia Artis’ advice, and she suggested to simplify the overall look of the gardens. To achieve this, it meant removing many plants, and replacing sculpts with mesh. She showed me which new plants to buy. I rezzed a number of them, which she then arranged at Maze Gardens. Learning her technique, I then simplified the plantings at the Plateau of Man Park. This film shows the result of our new efforts. Some ‘souvenirs’ from the Paer Thura sim we (Lilia Artis, Silas Merlin, and Haveit Neox) built as a collaboration for Fantasy Faire find their niche in the gardens. Lilia Artis’ giant Bird Guardian stands proud at the waterfalls, Silas Merlin’s centaur chickens pose regally at Maze Gardens and at the entry to Caravan Terminus, and my (Haveit Neox) Lost Pearl painting along with the text about Paer Thura in the Accentaury language hang in the Paer Thura tunnel which cuts under Maze Gardens.
