This is a short project that I created in Cinema 4D using X-Particles. I am familiar with fluid sims in Houdini and wanted to broaden my knowledge of other tools so for this I was experimenting in Cinema 4D and X-Particles. I was able to translate much of the fluid knowledge from Houdini directly to X-Particles. The process is the same where you create a particle simulation and direct the motion then mesh the particles using a VDB.
The speed of X-Particles made this a fun project to experiment with the different parameters using the XP Spline Flow modifier. As the fluid sim moves further away from the camera I wanted to particles to start break apart more and more to see the effects of different parameters in X-Particles.
The raspberry geometry was made using the MoGraph Module and was used to create some geometry attached to an X-Particles emitter with a dynamics tag so that it would interact with the fluid simulation.
