PPE Waves: A New Normal?

As the title suggests, this work is about the waves of doubt, insecurity, violence and illness we have been experiencing because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Personal Protective Equipment? Post Pandemic Euphoria? However we prefer to think about it, our lives have irrevocably changed. The situation is far from ‘normal’.

Guest choreographer Amber Funk Barton, SCA students, and SCA faculty choreographer Dr. Henry Daniel are taking the opportunity to make a larger commentary on where we are and where we might be heading, in what is certainly a very uncertain future. Featuring dancers Diane Sowter and Zaarah Ibarra Lopez, music by SCA MFA student Charlie Cooper, and sets by Alan Storey.
