For the world premiere of Secrets of the Whales, Nat Geo commissioned Little Cinema & composer Ricardo Romaneiro to create a 22 minute audiovisual re-imagination of Raphaella Thiabaut mesmerizing score for the series. Our re-imagination combines innovative lighting, projection mapping of clips from the film, and a live orchestration inspired by the sound of whales, and was broadcast on April 18, 2021.

The entire production was COVID safe and this is the first time in over a year that these musicians got the chance to perform together and live. Little Cinema is a creative studio and production powerhouse that works with the best in Hollywood to reimagine their cinematic events. Find out more at littlecinema.net ~ @little.cinema
