An experiment through film exploring the repetitious and monotonous feeling of day to day life of isolation.

The experimental film captures the feeling of monotony and reptation visually and sonically. The image is grainy but still evidently a contemporary home. A clock is keeping a rhythmic ticking in the background. The film is devoid of over saturation and is quite understated visually. The film moves to a bedroom as the camera pans around the room with a girl laying in her bed. The film is stopping and reversing clips halfway through them as it captures the essence of days not being able to be separated from one another. The girl is reoccurring through shots but there is no linear momentum of her actions as she is simply a passive member of life in isolation instead of actively living life to its fullest. Transitioning shots through masking and editing keeps the disorientation feeling of a mundane situation as no particular or standout moments are occurring when having to quarantine. The film uses these visuals in combination with the soundscape to draw the audience into a unfortunately familiar experience.
