This is a short film that we made a few years ago. The character in the film is a Chinese, he is studying in the US. During the Chinese Spring Festival (The Chinese New Year 春節), he couldn't be home with his family to celebrate. By watching short clips and Spring Festival ceremony on TV, he misses his family. However, he has to stay in the US and finish his education.
There are millions of foreigners come to the US and study every year. Most of the times they can't be home to celebrate festivals with their family. The loneliness and sadness only themselves understand.
