THURSDAY NIGHT MOVIE at the New Beverly Cinema: SOLD OUT screening of Allison Anders’ MI VIDA LOCA (1993) which chronicles the Latino gang culture in Los Angeles’ Echo Park area from a female perspective. Been many years since I’ve seen the film, but I have always been a fan of it! Tonight, the Bev is showing Allison’s personal 35mm print to conclude their month long series of “Los Angeles on Film”!
