Im Film sind sprechende Lippen zu sehen, es sind jedoch nur Wortfetzen zu hören. Es kann alles mögliche gesprochen werden, es kommt beim Zuhörer nichts an!
Vieles, was Frauen sagen und für sich einfordern, wird auch in der heutigen Zeit nicht gehört und wahrgenommen. Die Lippen verschmelzen mit dem Rot-Licht, Assoziationen zwischen Liebe und Erotik in Verbindung mit der Farbe rot wechseln sich mit Wut, Hass und Hilflosigkeit ab.

Bei dem gesprochenen Text handelt es sich um ein Gedicht aus dem 8. Jahrhundert von Umm Djafar Bint Ali al-Hashimia aus dem Buch „Die Flügel meines schweren Herzens“// Lyrik arabischer Dichterinnen. Mit dem kurzen abgedruckten Gedicht antwortete sie einem Mann, der sie wütend beschimpfte, nachdem sie seinen Heiratsantrag abgelehnt hatte:

Geh von uns mit deinem Zorn!
Du bist kein Gemahl für mich.
Du bist weder reich
noch gottesfürchtig.

Du willst mich besitzen mit
schwachem Verstand und störrischer Dummheit.

In the short videofilm are speaking lips to see, but there are only some fragments of words to hear. Everything and all could be spoken, but nothing comes in to the listener!
Much of what women are talking and demanding for themselves, would'nt hear and realized even nowadays.

The lips are melting with the red light, associations between love and erotic in connection with the red color are changing with anger, hate and helplessness. The spoken text is a poem of the 8th century from „Umm Djafar Bint Ali al-Hashimia“ out of the book „Die Flügel meines schweren Herzens“/ "The wings of my seriously heart“// Lyrik arabischer Dichterinnen/ Lyric from arabic poets.
With the short poem she is answering a man, who was berating her after she told him, that she would not marry him:

Go away with your anger!
You're not a husband for me.
You are neither rich
nor devout.
You want to own me
with a weak mind and stubborn foolishness.
