The idea for this film came from an essay by the author Charles Eisenstein titled "What's it like to be you?". The basic idea is that by asking that question we can break the cycle of war-thinking and de-humanization, and begin to understand "the other", and thus better be of service as change-makers in this world.

The film is a co-production with Swedish national television, and therefore the audio is in Swedish. We are now creating an English audio version of the film, which will make it easier to distribute it internationally.

Our aim is to spread this film, and its message of compassion, through international film festivals and through the film platform Campfire Stories (campfire-stories.org).
