The John 16 promo is an abstract short film made for a new series that was taught at Scottsdale Bible Church. The idea for this film was to stay abstract in our approach to the concept of God being with us always. Instead of creating an actual scenario of someone in a tough situation and showing God with them, we decided to instead show two people seemingly alone and distressed. We then used a bright light to signify God being with them. This allowed us to stay abstract enough that we didn't corner the pastor with a concept!

Overall, this was a super fun project to work on. We shot it on the Panasonic EVA1 using an Atomos Shogun so we could capture 5.7K RAW. I then processed the Prores RAW files through Compressor to get Prores 4444 HQ for editing in Premiere Pro. I then used Lumetri to for the color grade.
