The 2019 Saint Patrick’s Day Parade assembled at Holy Cross Church.

The monumental Church & site, & this Parade, slope down toward the strand at Tramore Bay.
“Tramore (/trəˈmɔːr/; Irish: Trá Mhór, meaning "great strand")[2] is a seaside village in County Waterford, on the southeast coast of Ireland. With humble origins as a small fishing village, the area saw rapid development upon the arrival of the railway from Waterford City in 1853. Initially the town flourished as a tourist destination, attracting visitors from as far away as Dublin in summer and from closer to home all year-round. As the population grew steadily in the latter part of the 20th century, Tramore became a satellite and dormitory town of Waterford City, situated some 13 km to the north. Today the town is a popular destination for surfing and other water sports due to its large, sheltered bay and provision of accommodation and amenities.” Wikipedia.

The parade was a joyful event, with little music & many, many children paraders.

The group in shredded yellow plastic were protesting the plastics dumped recklessly & wantonly in the ocean. I have been told that it is an island the size of Texas. The plastic dump is responsible for outragous wanton fish & sea life slaughter.We will see & hear more from this group in a coming chapter of this film.
