This is the opening scene for a film I wrote and directed on Super 35MM film called Inner Balance. Inner Balance is actually the opening scene of another feature film currently known as "Untitled Desert Project." However, in a way, Inner Balance also works in as a mysterious stand-alone short film.
Inner Balance stars Dana Ashbrook, known for his role as Bobby Briggs in David Lynch's Twin Peaks. The DP on this film was Eric Steelberg who went on to shoot such well known films as Juno, Up In The Air, Dolemite Is My Name, the recent Baywatch film, 500 Days Of Summer and The Front Runner.
