Footage - NASA Apollo astronaut training program 1960s, Music - Henry Mancini - Experiment in Terror
While browsing through a stock footage website, I came upon a profile containing public domain, historical footage. Some of the most fascinating footage that I found was filmed during the 1960s Apollo astronaut training program. Watching the bizarre-looking, old test equipment and scientists in lab coats, monitoring the astronaut's health was quite unsettling and reminded me of the darkest parts of the history of scientific experiments. Still, I can suspect that it was a usual way of conducting experiments in the 60s. Nevertheless, I decided to combine the footage with a thrilling soundtrack from the 1962 movie noir "Experiment in Terror" in order to make a short movie that exaggerates the distressing nature of the footage.
