My final project for School of Motion's Cinema 4D Bootcamp.
Provided with a set of storyboards, mood boards, and a voiceover - the final project combines all the aspects of the course into one final 3D endeavor. I completed the art direction, 3D models, lighting, animation and additional sound design.
My inspiration for this piece were 70's Camping Advertisements and Department Store catalogs; I found it interesting seeing these items staged, curated and presented outside the context of the actual wilderness. Having established the visual aesthetic, I couldn't help but feel like the concept was leaning towards an old-school PSA - so it only felt natural to present the piece as if it was being viewed through a slide projector in a classroom.
