Eroica film project is a debut feature parable film depicting interwar period of the 20th century in Halychyna. The focal point of the film are actions that evade symbolization and can’t be put into words, but are suddenly interpreted as life history facts and ideological patterns.

After two world wars, the territory of Ukraine remained littered with monuments, memorial signs, mass graves and nameplates. Film project narrates the story of one such monument, enlivening the proud and alienated look of a young man in a faded photo.
