Dnešní narozeninovou zdravici posílá AMU Eliška Děcká, teoretička a historička animovaného filmu, která působí na Katedře animované tvorby FAMU a je také prorektorkou pro vědecko-výzkumnou a umělecko-výzkumnou činnost AMU. Ve své výzkumné činnosti se zaměřuje především na společenské přesahy animace, gender, orální historii a všeobecně propojení animační teorie s praxí. Kromě četných článků publikovaných v českých i zahraničních filmových kulturních periodikách jí v roce 2017 vyšla původní studie v rámci českého vydání Animasofie Üla Pikkova. Eliška Děcká přednášela na bostonské Harvard University, University of Michigan, MOME Budapešť či Arts Academy v Turku. Pravidelně se jako dramaturgyně a porotkyně účastní festivalů animovaného filmu, např. Tricky Women, PAF Olomouc, Fantoche, Primanima, Fest Anča a dalších.

Today’s video congratulations to AMU come from Eliška Děcká, an animated film theorist and historian who currently works at the Department of Animated Film of FAMU and she is also Vice-Rector for Scientific and Artistic Research Activity. In her research, she focuses primarily on social ramifications of animation, gender, oral history and the relation of animation theory to practice in general. In addition to many articles published in both Czech and international film culture periodicals, she published an original study as part of the Czech edition of Animasofie by Ülo Pikkov in 2017. Eliška Děcká has lectured at the Harvard University in Boston, University of Michigan, MOME Budapest and Arts Academy in Turku. She regularly participates in animated film festivals as a dramaturge and juror, including Tricky Women, PAF Olomouc, Fantoche, Primanima, Fest Anča et al.
