My parents, Phyllis and Edward, met aboard the Manitoba in August, 1946... and in November they were married. In this short scene, they are visiting with her sister Barbara (along with her husband Frank and kids, Patty and Bruce). Most of the filming is by Ed, but at some point he handed someone the camera and got a rare cameo with his fiancee. I don't know where this is, but almost certainly near Boston as the ladies were from Worcester and Wellesley.
This was a difficult and dark piece of film, and after digitizing I did a little bit of post processing that included stabilization and color correction.
