DeathDive is a dance on film choreographed by Jon Lawson, performed by Matthew J. Keller, and features music by Arrington de Dionyso.
DeathDive is the final part of a three part dance series depicting growing up queer in small-town Ohio.
CrashCaught(2015)- expresses the feeling of falling and the chaos of queer life while struggling with the need for support in the 2008 economic crash.
My Second Time in the River(2018)- presented by the Area Choreographers Festival in Cincinnati, Ohio, was created in response to finding myself back in small-town Ohio and in similar situations.
DeathDive(2021) is learning I have control.
