The aim of the Connect Archives program series of Collectif Jeune Cinema in the Grand Action cinema is to generate a workshop and a network, for comparative curatorial approaches in contrast with the conventional national, an author based, retrospect like programming methods.
With the programmatic method we are hoping to warm up the interest on the content of the many hidden, and independently collections of experimental and progressive cinema.
Also, to bring together and develop an audience for the films out of the film historical interest more related to contemporary society and media-theoretical questions.
In this way, we would like to revitalize the special art contents in the frame of the creative aspects of our nowadays European challenges.
The curatorial program series is developing in synchrony with the Connect Archives Initiatives networked database project idea.

PROGRAMME N°4 : Way to Digital
Let's take evil into account. The age of humanism is over. In whatever comes next, not only our objects will become superfluous, but many of us, too.
We will become „gamers” in a virtual world – that seems to be the plan. Therefore it is a great responsibility to decide what to bring with us into this objectless world. And also, to decide what objects we make important for those who can still afford keeping anything.
