Featuring the story of Hyeonseo Lee and archived photographs of the Kim family
As a South Korean, I am aware that I was privileged enough to be raised in Canada.
My goal was to highlight the extremely difficult circumstances North Koreans had to endure to live a better life as I felt like many of these stories were glossed over or simply unheard of.
