A robot, vampire and Big Foot may not seem like Christmas characters to everyone, but to our WGN Morning News viewers, these are just a few of our wacky characters that make our morning show so fun and special! Each year WGN sponsors a contest inviting viewers to watch and win prizes.
This is my favorite project to work on every December. This year I decided it was time for a refresh and I illustrated new characters and modeled new pieces for the spot. I used Cinema 4D for the heavy lifting in this project and composited in After Effects. As a bonus, I created some frame by frame animations in Procreate on my iPad.
