From June until November 2019, Caban Sgriblio ran weekly workshops for young people in Brecon. The group of participants explored creative writing, poetry, monographing, ink drawing and more.

In October, poet and rapper Casey Bailey came to deliver a workshop on spoken word. The group spent the day rhyming, writing, creating and sharing their words, helping them gain new skills and confidence.

Casey introduced rap and rhythm with an emphasis on humour and not taking yourself too seriously; the young people enjoyed trying new skills, being playful and experimental with their words. Here's a film by Siôn Marshall-Waters documenting the day.
