A response to Rachel Young's work NIGHTCLUBBING, this is a short film previewed at the Centre of Contemporary Arts in Glasgow as part of the Project X-Change.

The film works on themes based on black nightlife and how pushed from the mainstream, black artists have had to dance to their own beat. This film is a dedication to the self love needed to create a subculture and thrive against the odds

Project X-Change is a programme of films made by dance artists, curated by Project X and featuring work by Nora Chipaumire (New York/Zimbabwe), Divine Tasinda (Glasgow) and Naledi Chai (Johannesburg). Over the night throughout the building will also be a collection of short dance films made by artists across the globe in response to NIGHTCLUBBING by Rachael Young. This can be viewed for FREE 5PM-10PM. Including work by: Alexander Aina (London), Hermes Chibueze Iyele (Lagos), Kieron Jina (Johannesburg), Marios Ento-Engkolo (Glasgow), Zethu Masesko (London), Tina Omotosho (London) & Camila Rivero (Chicago), Joy Maria Onotu (Glasgow), Libby Odai (Glasgow)
