Ambient Education
A short film about the the simplicity of the uncanny; How relaxation can borderline the Erie, and how the haunting energy of the melancholic day-to-day can take on a new meaning when re-contextualized using modern art techniques and advancing 3D software. Here I explored the results of what happens when allowing the software to communicate meaning as much as the artist, using procedural techniques to achieve everyday phenomenon, or arguably the boring aspects of reality.
This was entirely animated, rendered, and developed using Maxon Cinema 4D, SideFX Houdini FX, Autodesk Maya, The Adobe creative suite software, and the Otoy Octane Render Engine.
Sounds compiled and purchased using Splice.
