A summer weekend spent running in the Snowy Mountains - part of the Australian Alps. We spent two days camping and running around the Guthega area in Kosciuszko National Park. With runs up to Mt Twynam, the Munyang Aqueduct and the Rennix trail, it was a tiring but great weekend!
This is a short trail running film documenting that little weekend adventure. Over the two days we did 4 trail runs - 10km around the Sawpit Creek area, 15km up to the summit of Mt Twynam and back, 18km up the Munyang Aqueduct taking in Horse Camp Hut, Whites River Hut and Disappointment Spur hut, then finally a 12km out-and-back along the Rennix Trail.
Mostly filmed on a GoPro, but unfortunately I had the stabilisation turned off so also a great lesson to check equipment before starting!
